I’m saved!! Ok, now what?
Happy Sabbath! I apologize I have been away and extremely busy the last several weeks, but I am back and will try to pick up the pace on the blog. I hope you have missed it!
In this war between lucifer and our God over our souls, it is obviously very comforting to know that with our voice and our heart we give ourselves to Yehshua and are rescued from lucifer by the Grace of God. Did you know that the status of being saved (or not) is only the first judgement before God? We are also secondarily judged and rewarded (or punished) for our works, and whether or not we use our God given talents for His purpose in this war with His/our enemy. We are still soldiers until this ages old war ends very soon, each of us equipped with a different skill for spiritual combat. Revelation 22:12 “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” Psalms 62:12 “And lovingkindness is Yours, O Lord, For You recompense a man according to his work.” 2 John 1:8 “Watch yourselves, that you do not lose what we have accomplished, but that you may receive a full reward.” The Bible is full of examples about the curses of disobedience and the blessings of obedience, and part of obedience is being engaged with our God given talents in spiritual warfare. Salvation is but only the first step in a relationship with God the Father and Yehshua the Son. The robustness of salvation comes with doing the work of God’s purpose for a higher calling in your life, after being reborn out of lucifer’s reign. The low calling is defilement of the body and pursuit of trivial pleasures, daily tasks dedicated to vanity in which there exists no reward in heaven for these snares of lucifer, in fact, quite the opposite. This is war, we should never forget, and we are the objects of it. Be focused on His Word and not distracted by the lies, deceptions, or entranced by the sensuality of the vain.
The question of saved by Grace or works is ages old, and some theologians including the great Martin Luther, struggled to reconcile this. They over complicated the gospel, yet it is quite simple. Renouncing your citizenship from the kingdom of lucifer, and entering into the citizenship of the kingdom of God, is a process, whereby we first declare our belief in the Son of God, that he was prophesied from the beginning and thru the ages, was conceived immaculately, lived a sinless life, was crucified in His innocence, arose according to prophecy in 3 days from the grave, then departed, disappearing in a shaft of light, leaving with us His Holy Spirit while preparing a place in the Father’s House to receive the bride. If you believe all of this in your heart, God increases your gift of faith, to receive the Holy Spirit as the next step, through submersion in water. The 3rd step in this process is to enter into spiritual warfare as a baptized soldier in the army of the Most High God, and your works in the Kingdom of God reflect this step. To which kingdom are you loyal to as a citizen of it? The new love for God and all that He has done for you will become anchored into your heart and spirit, and your works will follow according to your gift of faith.
A wise man once said, the 2 most important days of our lives are the day we were born, and the day we discovered why. Pray that God reveals your purpose, if you don’t already know it, that your works in this life are rewarded, and celebrated in heaven. Imagine being greeted in heaven by hosts of angels when you arrive, singing and celebrating another diligent warrior of the Most High God that has returned home, much in the way we celebrate our own war heroes but with greater fanfare and grandeur in God’s presence. That thought will motivate you to do His work in this life. There are many ways to fight satan in this fallen world, pray that your purpose be revealed to you, choose a battle, and fight it well.
Never in the history of the world has deception been executed with such precision. Do not fall for the lies spewing 24/7 in 15 minute cycles on every television news program in the world. If you are spending your leisure time watching state controlled global media propaganda (Fox, CNN, MSNBC, etc), you are receiving constant instructions on a digital screen as to how to take your next steps in your life, whether it be your investments, or why you should take a drug or vaccine designed by satan’s operatives, why you should favor spending $billions for another pointless war that only enriches kings and generals, while allowing 20,000 illegal migrants a day to bring diseases and crime to the citizens paying for it all. The mainstream news media condemns you slowly, one video or sound bite at a time, inciting fear and destroying your faith, pushing you like cattle into the chute for branding with something irreversible like an mRNA vaccine. These lies are so constant and subtle, that over time there is almost nothing left of the Christian faith, or Christian nations who have quietly allowed themselves to become devoured by deception. Learn to fight this with the Word of God planted firmly in your heart. Fear God only, not the plagues, famines and diseases fabricated by the operatives of satan on earth. Fear God above all that is satan’s.
The most powerful thing any of us can do is to stand in repentance before God, giving effectiveness to our prayer, and pray with the voice of a child, asking Him to guide you and your family safely through this mess designed by the author of chaos.
“May the Lord reward your work, and your wages be full from the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to seek refuge.” (Ruth 2:12)
