Yom Kippur and Romans 11:26

And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

It is interesting that Paul is quoting Isaiah 59:20, but the Septuagint version of this verse says He shall come “TO” Zion. For Him to come OUT OF Zion He must first be in Zion. Is this a play on words by Paul? Is Isaiah 59:20 prophetic of His first coming TO Zion before He can come OUT of Zion?

When we think that the restoration of the Jews who rejected the Gospel and became the enemies of God will take a miracle, remember that a greater miracle took place when we “Gentiles” became the children of Abraham under the promise!

Acts 1:7 says it is not for us to know the times or seasons that the Father has put under His own authority. He is sovereign over all things. However, it is for us to pray that His will be done, and become partners with Him as we pray that all prophecy be fulfilled according to the promises of His word. I believe a special blessing comes to those who concern themselves with the Jewish people, their well-being and safety. Though these things must come to pass, and it will be very hard for those who rejected the Gospel, we must still pray that in those final days before He tabernacles with men forevermore, that ALL ISRAEL SHALL BE SAVED!

I meant to include this verse in last night’s post. Please include Romans 11:26 in your Yom Kippur prayers today, that ALL Israel shall be saved as it is written!
