No mind can conceive…..!!!!!

I read a commentary today that said “where is this written (from image above)? From what lost book? It is written no where in the Old Testament and must be from some lost book”. (Ellicott’s Commentary)

Well, my 1947 kjv version says this about that:

Isaiah 64:4
“For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.”

I would say Paul is definitely quoting Isaiah, wouldn’t you? But when I was researching this, I discovered that Elijah had a book in the Bible that actually HAS been lost. Wow what I would give to know what Elijah might have written! He is perhaps my favorite bible personality! The story of Elijah is simply amazing.

Anyway, we have no human ability to comprehend what is in store for us in the next life, when the sons of God are revealed (Romans 8:19kjv) and death no longer has dominion over us. While we want our kids to have the best daycare, get into the best schools, get accepted into the best universities, in order to qualify and compete for the best jobs, we miss the point of this life, of which the only purpose is to get to the next! We fail miserably in our short sightedness to prepare for the only thing that matters, being accepted as worthy by the blood of Yehshua (Jesus Christ) and move on to the Kingdom of Heaven! Prepare to be revealed as sons of the Most High God, acceptable purely by His Grace, becoming Kings and Priests in the royal line of Yehshua.   (Rev 1:6)

And by the way, one of those very intriguing verses in the bible, also from Isaiah, might have you contemplating the stars in the night sky with a different question: “Does one of those belong to me?” Chapter 51 of Isaiah is one of those loaded chapters full of insights, but direct your attention to verse 16:

“And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.”

Throughout the history of Israel, God clearly directs the steps of His people. But in this verse, I believe the prophecy extends all the way to the New Jerusalem in Revelation 21:3, when all prophecy has been fulfilled, the bride is adorned for her husband, and God will declare unto Zion (from where He rules upon His Holy Mountain) “THOU ART MY PEOPLE!” He declared the end from the beginning, laid the foundations of the earth that the heavens be planted with the legitimate Kings and Priests in the line of Yehshua! Adam was the first King and Priest, and when the New Jerusalem descends from heaven, will be the beginning of this eternal journey across the stars, planting the heavens in the shadow of His mighty hand!

Remember the 4th commandment today, take a minute to thank the Creator for all of His work done to get us to that new place prepared in ways beyond our ability to imagine!
