God’s perfect timing!

Happy Sabbath! As hundreds of thousands of Jewish people begin to gather today for Shavuot (Pentecost) and the reading of the book of Ruth, the day also marks the birthday of the Messianic church, led by the Holy Spirit. Unfortunately, if we use a biblically corrected calendar perfectly timed to Genesis chapter 1 and the time that the light was separated from the darkness when the earth’s orbit was set in motion (when our story on earth began) the timing doesn’t always line up exactly to the traditionally celebrated days. While there are such a multitude of problems with the digital electronic age that is ushering in the mark of the beast as we speak, one of the benefits is rewinding God’s watch with powerful computations (orbit of earth and moon around the sun is a precision infallible clock). According to the biblically corrected calendar, the Feast of Shavuot (Pentecost) for 2022 will begin on the night of June 11th, (the end of the biblical day is NOT midnight!) not the night of June 4th as is marked for Pentecost 2022.

So, this week I hope to find the time to prepare something perhaps insightful and interesting for the coming week’s festival, that is actually being celebrated in Israel a week early. Meanwhile, consider the most celebrated person in Israel on this day is Ruth, a very important biblical figure. There are a number of amazing facts regarding Ruth I will share next week, but for now, know that she was the great grandmother of David, as a result of her 2nd marriage! Her first husband died, she married a man named Boaz, who were the grandparents of Jesse, father of David! Ruth was a remarkable woman and is still admired and respected by the Jewish people today, which I will cover in more detail over the coming week, perhaps in several blog posts.

I will leave it here for now, and my time will be very limited this coming week so if you’re interested in knowing more about this very important feast of Shavuot, please pray for your favorite bible researcher that he finds the time to put something insightful together that would be appropriate for our increased knowledge in this journey to “Knowing God”. In anticipation, consider this passage from Daniel chapter 7 to understand how and why the appointed times, including the biblical Sabbath, have been corrupted and our knowledge of them nearly completely lost:

Daniel 7:22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom. 23Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. 24And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. 25And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws”: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. 26But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end. 27And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him. 28Hitherto is the end of the matter. As for me Daniel, my cogitations much troubled me, and my countenance changed in me: but I kept the matter in my heart.

No leaders throughout world history are more renowned for changing the “times and laws” of God than the Popes and Caesars of Rome. The Gregorian Calendar we use today, for example, is named after a Pope! So when we’re confused about how all of these deceptions came to fruition and formed the “traditions of men”, search no further than Rome for the answers. These deceptions are purposefully intended to distract us from the appointed times of the Most High, and miss our appointments with Him.

Stay tuned for more on the amazing and prophetic Feast of Shavuot!
