Happy 3rd day!

Happy Resurrection Day! Today is the 3rd day, yesterday was a Babylonian tradition carried over from Rome thru Catholicism, as is everything that comes with the non-biblical “Easter”. Ham dinner, colored eggs from flying rabbits, all are part of a tradition 3800yrs old, nothing to with the death and resurrection of the Messiah. See “Mystery Babylon” videos for more on this.

This verse came up in today’s devotional (image above) and I decided to share today to celebrate the power of the Resurrection.

Few people understand, that until we come to God in repentance, we are His adversaries. This is how critical it is to understand His commands and when we drift into enemy territory by breaking any of the commands even slightly, we assume the character of His enemies, and ostracize ourselves from His blessing over our lives. It has taken me a very long time to understand that it was never God that opened the doorways to disaster in my life, I opened those doors myself, and allowed the demons too much control. When I blamed God for lightening strikes that killed cattle, trees, even striking near me, it was never God. In breaking commands and stepping out of God’s Grace, I subjected myself to the prince of the power of the air (read Ephesians 2:1-3). If we love Him we keep His commandments, if we don’t keep them, we assume the profile of His enemy, and will be treated as such. Our access to the throne of God and all of its power of blessing and protection, lies in our own awareness of His commands, and being atoned for any transgression when we cross the line into enemy territory. The Grace of salvation is simple, but constant, if we expect God’s mercy to prevail over our lives. Being a servant of God comes with many percs. Being a friend of God comes with enormous power over His adversaries. We cannot behave as an adversary and expect blessing, power, grace or mercy from God. “For whom He did foreknow, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His son….. “ The magnitude of our reconciliation before God is dependent upon not bearing any similarity to His enemies. This is important to know in having an effective prayer life.

“By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures…” (1 Corinthians 15:2-4)
