Ruth, the grand finale!

An incredible story!

Happy Sabbath! Finally! I’m ready to wrap up the mysterious side of the story of Ruth today while I have a bit of a free weekend to myself. It may be a little long because this needs to be the last blog article on the subject of Ruth so we can move on to something new. As usual, I struggle with how to condense this into a digestible email because like most of the biblical accounts, the book of Ruth turns into a rabbit hole with no bottom.

I want to begin with disputing some of the conventional beliefs that Ruth was a woman of foreign ancestry in the line of Yehshua that broke the direct Israelite bloodline. At the very least, if not 100% Israelite, Ruth would have been considered a Hebrew through ancestry. Then there is the long history of curses on the Moabites for centuries, begging the question, how could David or Yehshua be of Moabite ancestry? The answer to this question reveals another example of God’s love and mercy for those that love Him. I really would like to have done this in a video but let’s see if I can break this down in 1000 words or less!

The first mistake people make is forgetting the timelines of the curses on the Moabites. For example, people take the verses in Isaiah 25:10 and Zepahiah 2:9 and say that Ruth was from among the cursed and Yehshua was from a cursed line, forgetting that Isaiah and Zepahiah didn’t come along until several hundred years after Ruth. After David, who was also long before the time of Isaiah and Zepahiah, the line to Yehshua was isolated from any Moabite curses.

Most of you may already know what I am about to review to set the stage for the completion of this Ruth story: Who were the Moabites? Again, we go back to Genesis for answers, beginning with chapter 13 where Abraham and Lot split up and Lot moves his herds and tribesmen to the valley of Sodom and Gomorrah. This is where we are in the videos now, and you probably know that Lot asked God to spare Zoar from among the 5 “cities of the plains” that He would destroy. I will explain some things in one of the upcoming videos about these 5 cities and some connections to fallen angels trying to reboot the human genome corruption plan from Genesis chapter 6, doing it again in Sodom and Gomorrah. The only way they had to stop God from coming to earth as a man and “lamb without blemish” that would save His chosen elect, was to corrupt the DNA of mankind and bring condemnation from God on mankind, as He did with the flood. (By the way, how many Christians are taking mRNA vaccines, because they have not been taught correct biblical history?) But for now, just know that Lot lived for a time in a cave near Zoar, which became the border of Moab and the inheritance of Lots descendants. Here is a map for clarity:

Lot became the father of the Moabites out of an act of incestuous corruption: Genesis 19:30-38

30 And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters. 31 And the firstborn said unto the younger, Our father is old, and there is not a man in the earth to come in unto us after the manner of all the earth: 32 Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father. 33 And they made their father drink wine that night: and the firstborn went in, and lay with her father; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose. 34 And it came to pass on the morrow, that the firstborn said unto the younger, Behold, I lay yesternight with my father: let us make him drink wine this night also; and go thou in, and lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father. 35 And they made their father drink wine that night also: and the younger arose, and lay with him; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose. 36 Thus were both the daughters of Lot with child by their father. 37 And the first born bare a son, and called his name Moab: the same is the father of the Moabites unto this day. 38 And the younger, she also bare a son, and called his name Benammi: the same is the father of the children of Ammon unto this day.

Now look at Deuteronomy 2:9 - And the LORD said unto me, Distress not the Moabites, neither contend with them in battle: for I will not give thee of their land for a possession; because I have given Ar unto the children of Lot for a possession.

Lot’s oldest daughter named her son Moab, from whom the Moabites descended, and Lot’s younger daughter called her son Ben-ammi, from whom the Ammonites descended. The Septuagint explains that the name Moab means “he is of my father,” a perpetual reminder of Moab’s incestuous beginnings. The land of Moab is cut out from the land of Canaan and reserved for Lot’s descendants by God’s command. The origin of the Moabites, though strange and corrupt, are cousins to the Israelites going back to Abraham and Lot. Bear in mind, this is a continued extension of God’s love for Abraham and His promise to Abraham when He rescued Lot from Sodom. I do not believe that God gave Lot an inheritance in the land of Canaan because He loved Lot so much, but that He loved Abraham so greatly, Lot was a beneficiary of that love and mercy.

We sometimes forget a few other important citizens of the land of Moab, the most famous of which was Moses, who would die in Moab after being told he would not see the promised land because of an event that is recorded in Numbers chapter 20; The incident at the waters of Meribah Kadesh. Nearing the end of their forty years of wandering, the Israelites came to the Desert of Zin. There was no water, and the community turned against Moses and Aaron. Moses and Aaron went to the tent of meeting and prostrated themselves before God. God told Moses and Aaron to gather the assembly and speak to the rock. Water would come forth. Moses took the staff and gathered the men. Then, seemingly in anger, Moses said to them, “Listen, you rebels, must we bring you water out of this rock?” Then Moses struck the rock twice with his staff. Water came from the rock, as God had promised. But God immediately told Moses and Aaron that, because they failed to trust Him enough to honor Him as holy, they would not bring the children of Israel into the Promised Land.

Moses disobeyed a direct command from God. God had commanded Moses to speak to the rock. Instead, Moses struck the rock with his staff. Earlier, when God had brought water from a rock, He instructed Moses to strike it with a staff (Exodus 17). But God’s instructions were different here. Moses didn’t need to use force; he simply needed to obey God and know that God would be true to His promise. Then Moses took the credit for bringing forth the water. He asks the people gathered at the rock, “Must we bring you water out of this rock?” (Numbers 20:10). Moses seemed to be taking credit for the miracle himself (and Aaron), instead of attributing it to God, and he did this publicly. The result was that he would not be the one to lead the Israelites into the promised land. This would be reserved for Joshua.

This story contains another prophetic metaphor that is neglected in the pulpits. I have often wondered how they came up with the name Jesus in translations, when the Hebrew origin is Yehoshua, which was translated Joshua to English. How then did they come up with Jesus in the New Testament, if Jesus was Joshua in the Old Testament? My opinion is this was a Pharisee conspiracy in translations but we’ll save that for another day.

For now, understand that Yehoshua, which was shortened to Yehshua, (Joshua in english and also Jesus’ Hebrew name), would lead the Israelites to the promised land. Now also understand that Moses represented the Law, and was iconic with the Law in prophecy. This entire scenario became a prophetic metaphor, that by the Law, no man would see the promised land! Rather the only doorway to the promised land is by following Yehshua (Joshua in OT)! The Law bore no fruit! This is the theme of Romans chapter 7, please read it.

As Israel prepared for the conquest of the promised land led by Joshua, you can read in the book of Numbers the story of 2 tribes, Reuben and Gad, that opted to remain in Moab. I won’t go into the entire story now, but after a lengthy dispute with Moses, they finally agreed to fight with the other tribes but left their families and cattle behind in Moab. It is also recorded that half of the tribe of Manasseh also remained in Moab.

So we have the families and servants of Moses and Aaron, as well as 2 tribes of Israel from Reuben and Gad, and a partial remnant of Manasseh, that were the first occupants of a liberated Moab ahead of the conquest of Israel’s promised land. Whatever happened in Moab from this time forward, the original inhabitants were not only of Hebrew origin descending from Lot, but at this time of Moses and Joshua, were specifically Israelite! And there were only about 150yrs between the death of Moses and the life of Ruth. I am contending, therefore, that Ruth must have been a descendant of either Moses, Reuben or Gad, in the land of Moab! The line of Yehshua was NOT broken with a foreigner of non-Hebrew descent, and I would argue that she was NOT from the line of Lot whatsoever! Rather, it is far more likely that Ruth was either from the line Moses, Reuben or Gad, taking Yehshua’s entire lineage back to Abraham on both sides.

Here is where the plot thickens. During the time of the Judges before the Kings, there was a Judge named Ehud. During Ehud’s time, Moab was ruled by a King Eglon who had enslaved the Israelites for 18yrs. In Judges chapter 3 is the story of Ehud, the Benjamite raised up by God to deliver Israel from the Moabites. In a clever move, Ehud gains access to King Eglon who the bible describes as a fat king, and stabs him in the belly, where the sword disappeared in the fat of his belly. King Eglon died, and in a fierce battle, the Israelites killed over 10,000 Moabites and took many captives back to Israel.

What I am about to share now comes from Jewish rabbinical historical archives that all seem to agree on this story, though it is extra-biblical, I believe helps pull the mysterious puzzle of Ruth together.

According to Jewish history, Ruth and Orpah were not only sisters, but were princesses! Both were daughters of the Moabite King Eglon, and were taken to Israel after he was killed by Ehud, where they married the sons of Elimelech. This would indicate that Elimelech was a very affluential Israelite, to have taken the daughters of King Eglon for his sons to marry, possibly as spoils of war. That part of the story is missing, but by implication is only logical.

When Orpah left Naomi and Ruth and returned to Moab, Jewish history records that she went on a sexual rampage trying to restore herself back to a position of royalty, by mating with over 100 men, and according to rabbinical records, she even included animals. Remember Genesis chapter 6, and Sodom and Gomorrah, etc, this was how they attempted to bring about the demi-gods as was done in both preflood and post-flood times. This is well documented and I have done several videos on this subject. Orpah wanted a demigod offspring, which means that the 100 men were probably nephillim 6 fingered galactic misfits not yet exterminated by Israel in the region.

Why is this disgusting information important to know? Remember that Ruth was the great grandmother of David? And of course, everyone knows the story of David and Goliath and the brothers of Gath. Would you like to take a guess at who was the grandmother of the brothers of Gath and Goliath? You guessed it, Ruth’s sister Orpah was the grandmother of Goliath!! The giant that confronted David, the great grandson of Ruth, and of course, lost. In this way, Jewish history records that Ruth was the “mother” of David (by descent) and Orpah the “mother” of Goliath (by descent). (*credit: Jewish Women’s Archives).

*As a side note, did you know where Oprah Winfrey got her name? Her mother named her Orpah, but it was misspelled as “Oprah” on her birth certificate, so she became Oprah. What does this say about her mother? I’m not sure, but I prefer not to meet her!

Last but not least! The story of Ruth was prophesied in Genesis chapter 38! By something called “equidistance letter sequencing”, which if you’ve seen my earlier videos, you know this is also in the Torah (books of Moses). In the Hebrew, if you begin with verse 1 of chapter 38, count 49 letters, you have an “R”, then another 49 letters, a “U”, another 49, “T”, another 49, an “H” – then by the same 49 letter sequencing, appears the name of Boaz, Obed, and David. The odds of being able to encode the names of Ruth, Boaz, Obed and David, in chapter 38 of Genesis, 150yrs before their existence, using this 49th letter sequencing, without compromising the integrity of the text, speaks of incomprehensible intelligence that could not have been known to Moses, who authored Genesis. This is a signature of the Holy Spirit’s influence over the books of Moses, revealing God’s plan in encrypted prophecy, only for the computer age to discover 3500yrs later!

It is peculiar why God chose chapter 38? Unfortunately, I can find only obscure connections. One connection is the Adullamite king for which the cave is named after (Cave of Adullam) where David hid from Saul and wrote many of his Psalms. The other is that one descendant of Adullam was King Hiram of Tyre, a close ally to both David and Solomon, who if you saw Study #16, you know was also from the tribe of Dan and was responsible for the building of the Ark of the Covenant. King Hiram also provided the fleet of ships that brought gold back from Tarshish and Ophir (now we know are the Philippine Islands) and the materials that were imported from there to build Solomon’s Temple circa 900BC. Other than this, I can find no clues as to why God chose chapter 38 for this incredibly complex encrypted prophecy.

Now if that is not amazing enough to blow your hair back, in the book of Ruth chapter 1, the same encoded messaging appears in equidistances of 5 letters (Hebrew), to spell Y then 5 letters to an E, then 5 letters to an H, then 5 letters to an S, then 5 letters to an H, then 5 letters to a U, then 5 letters to an A – the name YEHSHUA is spelled out in 5 letter sequences in Ruth chapter 1, written 200yrs after Genesis 38!

God reveals these mysteries to very few people, so if you took the time to read this today, give thanks to the one that reveals all mysteries to His chosen elect! Back in 1991, a great woman that prayed heavily for me during a very difficult time in my life, one day handed me a piece of paper with a few verses written on it, and said to me “I was praying for you and these verses came to me in the spirit, I believe meant for you”. She handed them to me, and I stuck them in my bible and forgot about them. I started this deep research about 5yrs ago, and flipping through that same old bible, came across her hand written note, which included the following verse from over 30yrs ago:

Jeremiah 33:3 - Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

This was the note she handed me back in 1991 after some prayer time on my behalf. As a wise man once said, the two most important days in our lives are the day we’re born, and the day we learn why. Thank you if you took the time to read this far, and may God increase your faith to new levels through these studies that I am so blessed to be able to share. Please share with others if you know someone that can benefit from these studies.
