Study no. 27 video and podcast
This study includes mostly the extra biblical accounts of the life of Abraham from various sources. Of these, I believe the book of Jubilees is the most pertinent. In my opinion, the books of Enoch and Jubilees should never have been removed from the bible, as they provide details that clarify so much of the early history of Genesis where we are otherwise ignorant. These books were in the original biblical scrolls and should still be today. In the case of Abraham, Jubilees contains some deeper insight into his youth. Abraham’s family were all idol worshipers in the time of Nimrod, yet Abraham knew God at a very early age. By the age of 14, he understood the demonic realm and became famous in the land of the Chaldees for blocking a satanic plot to starve the human race. He broke and burned the idols of the people, worshiped God only, long before maturing into the patriarch of Israel and “father of the faithful”. He was chosen by God from his infancy, and is even believed to have been raised by Noah and Shem, after Nimrod sought to kill him in his infancy.
Of course, this is all very hard to prove, but I present a few details that are interesting to consider in the life of Abraham. I believe much of it to be true or I would not have invested the time to research any of it. While most people find many of these studies very boring and choose not to participate, I believe that the more we attempt to know and comprehend of our biblical forefathers, the more God increases our degree of faith. There are maps and images of places that help the bible become more and more real to us as we dive deeper into history. That is the purpose of putting so much effort into these studies, to help increase our faith while there is so little time left in this age. If you listen to the podcast, please make time to review some of the maps and images of the video for this purpose of increasing faith. We live in desperate times, there is no harm in diversifying your mind away from the daily depression of this world, and going back in time to imagine how God shaped the future for this very time in which we live.
I had intended to include some fascinating evidence and insight on Sodom and Gomorrah, but will start a new video as this one took more time than I had planned. PLEASE do not miss the next study if you miss this one! It is fascinating!
