The High Calling of…….“Philadelphia”?
Revelation 3: 7-13
7And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; 8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. 9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. 10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
We should all be striving to know more about this little church, the only church that will be spared from the “hour of temptation”, or Great Tribulation. You see, this about the bride and groom, the 7 day Galilean wedding in the house of the father. The groom has selected a bride that shares his characteristics. She has a lot in common with her husband to be, and will be raptured to him unto the house of the Father, before the hour of temptation that shall come upon the whole earth.
In Mark chapter 16 I believe we can identify some characteristics of the bride: 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
If we believe in him and are baptized in the Holy Spirit (submersed in water at an age of accountability, not Babylonian sprinkling on an infant’s head), then these signs shall follow us. We will speak in the tongues of angels, we will cast out demons, heal the sick, and be immune to the snares of satan. This is the profile of the bride! The bride is the church of Philadelphia who will escape the hour of temptation in verse 13. Notice it doesn’t say 1/2 hour, for the mid-trib believers, or after the hour, for post trib believers. This is about the joining together of bride and groom for a 7 day Galilean wedding ceremony in the house of the father, before the “Wrath of the Lamb” on earth.
When I began to fast and pray for understanding as to why I have been so oppressed and attacked spiritually for most of my life, the Holy Spirit began to reveal old crimes (sins) for which I had never been forgiven. This is what satan does, finds these offenses and holds them against us as legal grounds that block the authority of Yehshua over aspects of our lives. All of satan’s names reveal who he is and what he does. Devil is from the Greek “diabolos” which directly translated is “slanderer”. In our prayers, we should also ask to be informed of every legal stronghold that the “slanderer” has against us. Everything is recorded in heaven. When we are atoned, these accusations against us are erased from the legal archives of heaven, and we come under the full protection of Yehshua. Legions of warring angels are constantly standing by, waiting for the command to dispose of our adversaries. Without atonement, they cannot legally defend us. For certain crimes (sins) we must call them out and confess them individually. These are the sins which usually go unto death, but can be other offenses, such as causing harm to another person, or inadvertently interfering in God’s will for the lives of others. We do these things under demonic influence and must be forgiven by confessing these particular sins that have subjected us to satan’s authority and blocked Yehshua’s authority over us. Pray daily in your petitions before the throne that all sins be revealed that have allowed satan a stronghold over you, and constantly give praise to the Father and Son, that through our intercession, it will be on earth as it is in heaven where there is no restraint on God’s glory among men. This is our high calling, the calling of the bride of Christ and little Church of Philadelphia, to live an atoned life that enables through prayer, a full release of God’s power against our spiritual adversaries that have physically impaired our existence, stolen our joy, crippled our loved ones, and polluted our minds with deceptions. Praise be to the Most High God, glorious is His Holy Name, and praise be to Yehshua, who has imparted His authority to all men who diligently seek Him, subjecting all principalities, powers and dominions in high spiritual places beneath our feet!
This is the High Calling of the Bride! The bride is the Church of Philadelphia! Prepare yourselves for a Galilean wedding in the House of the Father!!! Why would you want to miss out on this event?
