The only pure religion? Shalom!

James says this in chapter 1 verse 27: “Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.”

Notice James says “God” AND “The Father”? This is remarkable even as the brother to Yehshua, that it was very clear to the disciples that Yehshua was God, or as John states, “the Word, who was with God and who was…God!”

People that know me, also know that my regard for organized religion is the same as Yehshua’s. The more organized it is, the more it begins to resemble the Pharisees He regularly confronted with the simplistic truth that love defines us more than conforming to a long list of rules (the law bore no fruit -Galatians 5/Romans 7). Organized religion steals from the beauty of the Holy Spirit and diminishes the Glory of God on earth. When the executive level church establishment agrees on a particular theology, right or wrong, (usually wrong) the function of the Holy Spirit is muted. So I love this verse from James, to clarify that the only pure religion is one that confronts poverty, premature deaths, and fatherless children, victims of both. Why is this so important?

Poverty, death and destruction: This is the signature of satan. By coming to the aid of “orphans and widows” we are directly confronting satan and engaging into spiritual warfare with our tithes to those in need.

Coming soon, in a video series I will dedicate to spiritual warfare, I am going to explain some things, but one I want to share with you now: Did you know that before lucifer’s time, there was no word for peace? Peace had always existed, until…...(Isaiah 14). In the original Paleo Hebrew language, the word Shalom for peace, is literally translated from these consonants (reading from right to left for Hebrew)

Shalom (peace) literally translates: “To Destroy the authority attached to chaos!”

By keeping ourselves unspotted from the world, we are instantly equipped for battle through atonement in the blood of the Lamb of God! Satan (the thief) is come to steal, kill and destroy! (John 10:10) Go out and help the widowed and the fatherless, praying for them as you go, and in doing so, you are confronting and engaging satan on his turf!

SHALOM!!!
